Armstrong Hunter & Associates (O.B.O. 6645411 Canada Inc.) has applied to amend the Official Plan & Zoning By-law to permit a 14 storey residential condominium building with 48 units (50 approved). The base of the building includes three 2-storey townhouses fronting on Shuter Street. There are 42 parking spaces proposed within a three level underground garage accessed
from an existing public lane. A valet will take cars to the underground garage via a car elevator.

15 Shuter St-178 Victoria St-Massey Hall

City Council approve the proposed alterations to the heritage property at 15 Shuter Street/178 Victoria Street (Massey Hall), including the removal of the Albert Building, to allow for the construction of a six-storey addition with a two level basement and a two level mechanical penthouse on the south side of the existing concert hall substantially in accordance with the plans and drawings prepared by Kuwabara Payne McKenna Blumberg Architects dated September 28, 2012 and date stamped received by the City Planning Division October 4, 2012 for Site Plan

 

Application No. 12 256738 STE 27 SA, and in accordance with the HIA Assessment (HIA) prepared by Goldsmith Borgal and Company Ltd. Architects dated April 8, 2013, subject to conditions.

 

60 Shuter St-187-189 Church St

An application has been made to amend the Zoning Bylaw to permit a 42 storey mixed use building with a total of 536 residential units and 523 m2 of retail at grade. The development proposes 4 levels of underground parking with a total of 122 parking spaces.

 

79 - 85 Shuter St

Proposal for a 32 storey residential building containing 251 units, with 3 levels of underground parking containing 48 spaces to be used for residents and visitors. 

207 Yonge St

An application was made to amend the Zoning Bylaw to permit a 13 storey building with a total of 36 residential units

 

186-188 Jarvis St-Ryerson

This application proposes a 27 storey student residence in partnership with Ryerson University. The project is proposed to contain 197 units (583 beds) with commercial or retail uses on the ground floor at the property known municipally as 186-188 Jarvis Street. This report provides preliminary information on the above-noted application and seeks Community Council's directions on further processing of the application and on the community consultation process. Next steps include the scheduling of a community consultation meeting, the date of which is yet to be determined. A final report is targeted for the second quarter of 2013. The target date assumes that the applicant will provide all required information in a timely manner.

Preliminary plans feature an estimated 20 storey building that will offer a mix of one, two, three and four bedroom units.
